For an international Automotive Tier1 company, an original equipment manufacturer of premium powertrain systems, we are searching for the


North America & Canada Regional Sales Director

This high-performing Regional Sales Director will be in charge of developing markets, acquiring customers, satisfying their needs, understanding business trends and achieving the region revenue growth objectives. His/her responsibilities include developing sales strategy and action plans, in order to achieve financial targets.

Key responsibilities

Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets and accounts over complete NAR Region

Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand customer base

Build and maintain strong and long-lasting customer relationships

Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives

Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations

Understand category-specific landscapes and trends

Reporting on forces that drive tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts

Global responsibility for sales strategy of NAR Accounts locally and worldwide


Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets

Previous experience as a North America sales executive/ sales manager/ sales and marketing director through Automotive market, experienced over OEM leader companies, preferably powertrain systems 

Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and middle levels

Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan/modeling to close/implementing

Commercial expertise bundled with technical skills will be required for fully handling all product aspects

Proven ability to position products against competitors

Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions

Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills

Strong ability to work independently; determination, proactivity, resilience

Excellent verbal and written communications skills: English must, Other languages as strong plus

BA/BS degree or equivalent. MBA as strong plus

SAP skill/knowledge must
